Fort McCoy: The Korean War Years
This issue of the Triad features a special section on the role of Fort McCoy during the Korean War era.  Above, the only Reserve searchlight unit in the U.S. Army, Battery E, 29th Artillery, sights in an 8-million candle-power light during its proficiency tests at Camp McCoy, Wis., where the unit participated in annual summer training in 1952.  The citizen-soldiers are members of the 2nd Platoon, from Milan, Ind.
