Preparing for Desert Duty
Soldiers training for duty in Southwest Asia may have looked a little out of place dressed in desert clothing on snow-covered Fort McCoy training sites. About 200 soldiers from the Iowa and Minnesota Army National Guard were trained at the installation and will be deployed to support Operation Desert Spring.
