The Brummund Family of Fort McCoy takes a break from making
Christmas cards during an Army Community Service Christmas Card
Workshop. Fifteen Families participated in the November
Each Family also spent time sharing the things they are thankful for
and some of their favorite holiday traditions with other Families
attending the workshops.
Focusing on these things helps to increase the strength of the Family,
which will in turn help them get though any tough times.
According to ACS staff members, many attendees expressed their thanks
for Family, friends, health, God, freedom, being able to spend time
together, dogs, and bunnies. One Family mentioned that coming to make
Christmas cards at Fort McCoy has now become a Family tradition they all
enjoy, and all Families attending the workshops mentioned the great time
they had at the event.
