Army Birthday celebration

Staff and youth from the Fort McCoy Child, Youth, and School Services Summer Camp program honor the Army Birthday with a June 14 event, including activities coordinated by the older youth in the program to support the younger youth. The Summer Camp program will continue into August.

Military motorcycles

Members of the Fort McCoy community view the Rolling Thunder Military Bike Tribute in front of McCoy's. The display came to Fort McCoy June 20 and included tribute bikes for the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard. Fort McCoy's Army Community Service program sponsored the event.

Exchange Outdoor Food Court

Members of the Fort McCoy community visit the Exchange Outdoor Food Court vendors. Available vendors include LeRoy's Grill, the Fox Smokehouse and The Munchie Mobile, which are open from about 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays. No federal endorsement is implied. MWR Spring Golf

A golfer sizes up a downhill lie at the MWR Spring Golf tournament held at Hiawatha Golf Club in Tomah. The winning team of the June 7 event was Tre Blanco and The Dutchmen comprised of Mark Schiermeyer, John Angeli, Gene Essex and Scott Perry. The MWR Fall Golf tournament is set for Sept. 20 at Sparta.

Piano men

Dueling Pianos performers entertain the audience at a June 21 Fort McCoy performance. The all-request show was held at McCoy's and featured audience participation in sing- and clap-along and rock 'n' roll piano numbers, with a comedy show mixed in. The show was free and open to the public.
