ARRTC cases colors at McCoy, moves to Knox

To conclude its 35 years as a tenant activity at Fort McCoy, Wis., the Army Reserve Readiness Training Center held a flag-casing ceremony June 3. It was the last official act of the organization’s rich history and proud service at the installation.

IMMA wins Army-level award for maintenance excellence

For the second consecutive year, the Installation Materiel Maintenance Activity (at Fort McCoy has won a top award in the Department of the Army Award for Maintenance Excellence competition.

Memorial Day Prayer Luncheon salutes veterans

Soldiers and veterans — past, present and future heroes — were honored at a Memorial Day Prayer Luncheon May 25 at Fort McCoy. The event was hosted by Colonel David Chesser, garrison commander, and Chaplain (Col.) Kenneth Lawson, garrison chaplain.

Runners at Fort McCoy have several choices to run one- to five-mile marked routes at the installation.

softball competition fosters good will
 
Eight singles in the sixth inning led to seven runs scored by the Fort McCoy softball team in a 14-10 victory May 22 against the Angelini’s Pizzeria and Ristorante team of Sparta.
