Halloween safety

Safety Specialist Tim Cumberworth with the Installation Safety Office delivers treat bags for Fort McCoy Families on Oct. 30 in the South Post Housing area at Fort McCoy, Wis. The bags were filled with child-friendly items that promote personal and home safety. The Installation Safety Office conducts the Halloween safety event every year. Cumberworth delivered the items with fellow Safety Specialist Don Vender.

Training prep

Soldiers with the 2nd Battalion, 122nd Field Artillery of the Illinois National Guard prepare equipment for training Oct. 26 at Fort McCoy, Wis. The unit was at Fort McCoy for battle-drill training. Thousands of service members trained at Fort McCoy in October for battle-drill and institutional training.

Pavement upgrade

A contractor places new asphalt in the driving and parking area for building 1678, home of the Installation Safety Office, on Oct. 26 at Fort McCoy. The asphalt paving was one of many areas on post that received new asphalt in late October. The work was coordinated by the Directorate of Public Works.
