Sidewalk construction

Workers with Nuvo Construction of Milwaukee complete a new section of sidewalk along West 12th Avenue July 13 at Fort McCoy.

The work is a continuation of a $799,000 Directorate of Public Works concrete and gravel task order to repair and replace sidewalks around the installation.

The new 6-foot-wide sidewalk on West 12th will extend from the laundry facility at building 2002 to the intersection of West J Street and West 12th.

It is being created to increase safety and mobility throughout the installation for troops training here.
