EMERGENCY-RESPONSE TRAINING
HELD ON PASSENGER RAILCARS

Dozens of law-enforcement, fire, and medical personnel from throughout the region participated in an Amtrak Passenger Train Emergency-Response training course in late April at Fort McCoy. (Story, photos.)

ROTC CADETS ENCOUNTER
VIRTUAL STAFF RIDE AT VBS3

The first "virtual staff ride" was held April 29 Fort McCoy's Virtual Battle Space 3 simulation facility for 14 senior cadets with the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh ROTC Program. (Story, photos.)

RESERVE RSG'S 800-PLUS SOLDIERS
COMPLETE UNITWIDE TRAINING

As part of its only annual unitwide training event, more than 800 Soldiers associated with the Army Reserve's 644th Regional Support Group completed battle-drill training at Fort McCoy in late April. (Story, photos.)

Soldiers with the 322nd Support Maintenance Company and the 203rd Transportation Company, both Army Reserve units in Arden Hills, Minn., participate in M240 and M249 machine-gun training at Range 26 on Fort McCoy's North Post.


1ST, 291ST BSB REACTIVATES
UNDER 181ST INFANTRY BRIGADE
