Highway 21 project

Employees with Nuvo Construction of Milwaukee work on a project April 6 at the Highway 21 and X Road intersection at Fort McCoy. The work includes creating turn lanes with channelized medians for left and right turns on to X Road.

The highway remains open throughout the construction period. X Road, however, is closed for the project's duration. East Maneuver Road is being used as a detour route to access Gate 20. The project is scheduled to be complete by June.
