Fence project

Contractors work to place fence posts within the Fort McCoy cantonment area March 14. The work, part of a project managed by the Directorate of Public Works, will provide an area for contractors to store equipment when work is being completed on post.

Youth activities

Fort McCoy youth work on projects at the School-Age Center/Youth Center in early March. The center, located in building 1792, offers a full program for youth in grades kindergarten through 12. The center is affiliated with the 4-H Club and the Boys & Girls Club of America.

Retirement planning

Retirement Services Officer Mitzi Hinton helps a Soldier with retirement plans March 15 at the Soldier For Life-Retirement Services Office in building 35 at Fort McCoy.

The office provides information about benefits and entitlements to active-duty and retired service members and Families. Walk-in visitors are welcome; however, appointments are encouraged.

Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, excluding federal holidays. Call 608-388-3716 for more information.
