Blood drive

Fort McCoy community members donate blood during an American Red Cross blood drive at McCoy's Community Club. An average of 60 pints of donated blood is collected during each blood drive.

According to the Red Cross, someone in the United States needs blood every two seconds. More than 41,000 blood donations are needed every day, and 30 million blood components are transfused each year in the United States.
