Teen survival week

Teen Family members enrolled in Fort McCoy's Child, Youth, and Student Services participate in land-navigation training as part of a teen survival week in July. Small-group leaders from the Todd R. Cornell Noncommissioned Officer Academy Warrior Leader Course taught the teens how to use a lensatic compass and to orient to their surroundings. The youth also made paracord survival bracelets, learned how to set up tents, constructed solar ovens, and played paintball.
