Color guard support

Fort McCoy Soldiers Staff Sgt. John Roloson, Fort McCoy Headquarters and Headquarters Company, U.S. Army Garrison, and Sgt. 1st Class Robert Hankins, 181st Infantry Brigade, support a color guard at an early April game of the Milwaukee Bucks basketball team in the BMO Harris Bradley Center. Also participating in the color guard were Sgts. Sean McManus and Carlos Munoz from the U.S. Army Recruiting Company in Milwaukee.

Academy staff visits Madison

Staff members from the Staff Sgt. Todd R. Cornell Noncommissioned Officer Academy, a tenant unit at Fort McCoy, stand in formation for a photo April 14 in the Capitol Building in Madison, Wis. During the visit to Madison, the staff learned more about Wisconsin's military and state history. The staff also was recognized by the Wisconsin State Senate.

Reporting for duty!

A convoy of U.S. Army vehicles travels on Highway 21 in the rain near Fort McCoy April 10.

The vehicles arrived as part of a larger contingent of nearly 7,000 troops who trained at the installation during the second week of April.

Planning session

Soldiers from the 826th Ordnance Company, an Army Reserve unit from Milwaukee, set up and plan a training session April 10 at Badger Drop Zone on Fort McCoy's South Post.

The unit's Soldiers were among the nearly 7,000 service members who trained at Fort McCoy during the second week of April.
