Air Force Combat Support Training Exercise ops

Airmen (top) offload generators from the cargo bay of a C-130 Hercules. The aircraft, which landed at the Sparta-Fort McCoy Airport during the Combat Support Training Exercise (CSTX), was flown in by the 934th Airlift Wing, Minneapolis-St. Paul Air Reserve Station, Minn.

Below, Staff Sgt. Chris Barnum, 30th Aerial Port Squadron, Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station, N.Y., marshals in a load of cargo on to a C-17 Globemaster III at the Young Air Assault Strip on Fort McCoy's South Post.

U.S. reserve components from all branches participated in combined joint exercises Patriot Warrior, Global Medic, Diamond Saber and CSTX in preparation for future deployments in joint environments.
