Sherry Oslie, Housing manager, and Nott outlined and discussed new and changed policies for Housing residents and management of the Housing area.

Residents were asked to submit additional suggestions for policy changes no later than two weeks after the meeting to be included in the next policy publication.

Housing Mayor Sgt. 1st Class Zach Zuehlsdorf discussed the proposal for a railroad crossing "quiet zone" on Ginger Road for the Housing area. The "quiet zone" proposal will need to be approved by the Angelo Town Board before work can proceed on this project.

Oslie outlined the progress of the new South Post Housing warehouse and renovation of the Community Center. Family Housing will relocate administrative offices to the Community Center and consolidate warehouses to South Post.

The warehouse will serve as the resident's self-help center and maintenance center. Housing staff will be on site for Housing area management, allowing convenient access to facilities and improving availability for all residents.

Following the Town Hall meeting, residents toured the Community Center to view the new floor plan and renovation progress. The relocation of Housing operations to South Post is planned within the next few months.
