Brigade Quartermaster store relocates to Exchange

The relocation of the Brigade Quartermaster store to the Exchange, building 1538 at Fort McCoy, consolidates all of the Exchange merchandise and services under one roof.

Sheryl Brooks, facility manager, said the store will continue to offer tactical equipment and accessories, clothing and apparel such as coats, gloves and boots and TRM (R) merchandise.

The store is a concessionaire operation, much like the Barber Shop, and Laundry/Dry Cleaners operations, Brooks said.

Sales taxes are charged on merchandise unlike the Exchange.

If an item is not in stock, Brooks said they may be able to get it from a different store or order it from a catalog.

“The new location provides a much more modern business area compared to its former location,” Brooks said. “The store also is easier to find, more conveniently located to other Exchange services and shares the Exchange parking lot.”

Being in the Exchange facility also will allow the Brigade Quartermaster store to expand its operating hours to correspond with the Exchange.

The new hours are Monday-Saturday 9 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sundays 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

Questions about the facility can be directed to 608-269-1730 or interested personnel can visit the websites www.brigadeqm.com or www.iragreen.com
