Mobilization

Arrival

Soldiers from the 105th Engineer Battalion deplane at Volk Field. Three of the battalion’s companies, along with seven subordinate companies, arrived at Fort McCoy to begin their mobilization training in preparation to deploy in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. For this deployment, the 105th, headquartered in Raeford, N.C., has Soldiers from North Carolina, South Carolina, Arkansas, Oregon and Washington.
