Squad-level training
A line of Soldiers advances through woods and grass areas during a walk-through phase rehearsal for an upcoming squad live-fire exercise at a Fort McCoy training lane. The Soldiers are from the 201st Field Artillery, West Virginia Army National Guard. The 201st is part of the 197th Fires Brigade, which deployed in support of Operation New Dawn.

Live-fire qualification
Soldiers from the 103rd Field Artillery qualify with their M240B 7.62-caliber light machine guns as they prepare to deploy in support of Operation New Dawn. Gunners, assistant gunners and range safety officers conducted the qualification on Fort McCoy’s Range 34, the Multi-Purpose Machine-Gun Range.
