Army Reserve Soldiers, including personnel from the 451st Civil Affairs Battalion, Pasadena, Texas, train on hand-grenade placement during a pre-deployment scenario at Fort McCoy’s Mobile Urban Training Site-South. Soldiers (top) threw simulated grenades and provided simulated cover fire from behind a sofa. Then the Soldiers (center) low crawled to the next obstacle, discarded tires. Finally, the Soldiers (above) threw grenades at the target from behind the tire obstacle while a Regional Training Center-Central cadre observed. The training is part of the Regional Training Center-Central 21-day pre-mobilization course.
