Mark Siple, McCoy’s manager, said the new large-screen televisions will help patrons, including military personnel from out of state, better enjoy football (sports) and other entertainment programming. McCoy’s subscribes to the NFL Direct package, which allows customers to watch National Football League games.

The new televisions also will have clearer pictures than the ones they are replacing.

In addition to replacing the televisions in the McCoy’s eating areas, Siple said the project also included replacing and upgrading televisions in the banquet/conference rooms to support activities that can take place in those areas.

Siple said McCoy’s also replaced a variety of food-preparation equipment, including pizza ovens, and the new steamer/convection-type ovens, which will cook food better.

This includes a cycle that will allow additional moisture to be added to the cooking process, as well as dry heat and steam that will help the reheating process. Siple said the equipment replacement includes new grills to support the "Grill Your Own Steaks" nights.

The equipment was paid for by supplemental Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation funding, Siple said. For more information about McCoy’s offerings/services, call (608) 388-2065.
