86th Training Division (Operations)
completes move to building 50
|The 86th Training Division (Operations) has
consolidated its staff in building 50 at Fort McCoy.
Keith Krajewski, the G-3 Staff Operations and Training Officer for the
86th, which is a tenant activity at Fort McCoy, said the 86th is an Army
Reserve unit that plans and coordinates the Warrior Exercise (WAREX) and
the Combat Support Training Exercise (CSTX). The organization supported
the 78th conducting a WAREX and CSTX this past summer.
Prior to the move, all sections of the 86th were located in the 800
The unit moved into building 50 gradually, beginning in January and
recently completed the move.
The new location offers sufficient administrative space and ample
parking, he said. An auditorium is available to support large-scale
briefings. The distance-learning classrooms provide technology to
support communications between the 86th and units that can come from
throughout the country for the WAREX and CSTX events. A dining facility
also is available in the facility to support the military personnel
assigned to the unit.
Other amenities that will help support the 86th’s mission are ample
warehouse space and a loading dock, Krajewski said.
