CSTX prepares Soldiers for deployments

The Combat Support Training Exercise 2010 at Fort McCoy is designed for units in their fourth year of the ARFORGEN cycle. This means each unit participating in the exercise is slated to be deployed at some point in the upcoming year.

Soldiers gain experience in setting up DRASH

Soldiers from the 77th Sustainment Brigade participated in a team-building exercise focused on how to construct a Tactical Operations Center out of a Deployable Rapid Assembly Shelter (DRASH) during Combat Support Training Exercise 2010.

McCoy represents IMCOM-NE in food service competition

For the second consecutive year, a Fort McCoy dining facility will represent the Installation Management Command (IMCOM)-Northeast Region in the Philip A. Connelly Award food service competition.

Engineer Soldiers deploy new surveying equipment

Soldiers from the Texas Army National Guard training to deploy in support of Operation Enduring Freedom used new Global Positioning System (GPS) equipment to read information from an orbiting satellite and record it on the hand-held device.
