Fort McCoy Exchange to host Aug. 20 Xbox 360® competition

FORT MCCOY, Wis. (Army And Air Force Exchange Service) — Virtual sweat and avatar tears will be the order of the day as the Army & Air Force Exchange Service’s “Kinect™ for Xbox 360® World Wide Competition” comes to the Fort McCoy Exchange Saturday, Aug. 20.

Participants can forgo the buttons and controllers as they’ll compete in two-three track and field events using their entire bodies. At the conclusion of the day’s games on Aug. 20, the player with the highest score will win a new Xbox 360® Kinect sensor.
 
Beyond Fort McCoy, the local champ also will be competing against the top scores at Exchanges on Army and Air Force installations throughout the Central region of the United States.

The player with the highest score in the region will be awarded an Xbox 360® 250GB Kinect Bundle.

Friends and Family also can come to the Exchange and cheer contestants on as Xbox® live cards, and video games will be given away throughout the Aug. 20 competition from 10 a.m. -4 p.m.
