Wisconsin artillery unit rockets into new era

With the last rocket’s glare, the Wisconsin Army National Guard’s 1st Battalion, 121st Field Artillery gave proof June 26 at Fort McCoy of their Soldiers’ unflagging determination to certify on the military’s most-advanced field artillery weapon system.

Red Dragon stresses homeland security, defense

Regional Best Warrior honors top NCOs, Soldiers

Summer always marks the onslaught of summer big-budget movies and sequels.
One action-packed sequel that played exclusively at Fort McCoy and won’t be shown at the local cineplex because it isn’t a movie, but rather is a sequel to last year’s successful warrior challenge — the 2010 Regional Best Warrior Competition (RBWC).
