Selected DFMWR program offices move to newly renovated building 1668

Offices and programs in the Fort McCoy Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (DFMWR) have moved to building 1668.

Included in the move are the director of the DFMWR, Marketing, Financial Management, Unit Funds and Clearing, the School Liaison Office and Parent Central Services.

Daryl Budda, DFMWR director, said the move allows personnel needing these services to complete all actions in the same building. A room also will be available for Child, Youth and School Services staff training.

The newly renovated facility is located just to the northwest of the J Street and South 11th Avenue intersection, across the street from the Commissary/Exchange complex.

Budda said the new location has higher visibility than the old location in building 2187, making it easier for personnel to find needed services and providing convenient parking. The new area will include the construction/renovation of a warehouse, which should be completed by the end of the summer.

Parents can complete registration for their children for child care, after-school services and other programs at the new location.

Phone numbers for DFMWR organizations in the new building remain the same. E-mail addresses have changed because of the installation’s migration to the new e-mail system.
