New this year is the traveling Holocaust educational exhibit “One Soul: When Humanity Fails.”

Some favorites returning this year are the one-hour guided installation bus tours, the smoke house, customized ID tags, camouflage face-painting, equipment displays, environmental displays and an obstacle course.

Fort McCoy’s History Center and the Commemorative Area building displays will be open all day. The displays have been changed in the last year, so there always is something new to see and experience.

In addition, the Equipment Park and Veterans Memorial Plaza are available for guests to walk around and reflect on their own personal history.

Food and refreshments will be available for purchase throughout the day.

Open House visitors must use Gate 15 (Tomah Gate) to access the Open House grounds from off post.

Adult visitors must be prepared to show photo identification upon entering.

For more information, call the Fort McCoy Public Affairs Office at 608-388-2407.
