Spc. Kathren Acosta of the Troop Medical Clinic (Military Health System) donates blood at Fort McCoy’s Rumpel Fitness Center as part of an American Red Cross Blood Drive. Scott Lund, a Red Cross collection specialist, monitors her progress. The March 31 blood drive collected 47 pints of blood, which can benefit up to 141 patients in need.

Sgt. 1st Class Patrick Patterson, left, watches Jason Van Zomeren at work in the communications and electronics shop at Fort McCoy’s Installation Materiel Maintenance Activity (IMMA). Patterson is an evaluator with the Army Award for Maintenance Excellence (AAME) program, which was inspecting IMMA for the AAME in the medium category for the Installation Management Command level of competition for Directorate of Logistics organizations.

An employee from the C3T, Inc., of Milwaukee, works on the new Troop Projects building at Fort McCoy. The facility is scheduled to be completed in May. The construction supports the installation plan to have maintenance-type facilities /organizations in the 2800-2900 block area.
