The Basic Motorcycle Riders Class, a 16-hour, two-day
course, will be offered at Fort McCoy.
Classes will begin at 8 a.m. each day of the training. Class dates are:
April 15-16, 24-25, and 29-30; May 8-9, 13-14, 22-23, and 27-28; June
5-6, 10-11, 19-20, and 24-25; July 8-9, 17-18, and 22-23; Aug. 5-6,
14-15, 19-20. 28-29; Sept. 2-3, 11-12, 16-17; 25-26; and Oct. 2-3, and
The classes are free to military and federal civilians in the Fort McCoy
work force. People intending to ride their motorcycles at Fort McCoy
must pass a safety course that meets National Motorcycle Safety
Association standards. Both the Basic and Experienced Motorcycle Riders
Classes meet this requirement.
The Experienced Motorcycle Riders Safety Class, and the Military
Sportsbike Motorcycle Riders Safety Class also may be offered if there
is sufficient interest to form classes.
