Building renovations


Buildings in the 1600 block at Fort McCoy are being renovated using Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization funding and American Recovery and Reinvestment Act 2009 funds, also known as stimulus funds. The renovations will help bring the installation to its goal of having a 10,000-bed capacity to support training. Water main repairs also are being done in the 1600 block with stimulus funding.

Swim Club Coach Patrice McGinnis, a Rumpel Fitness Center recreational aide, demonstrates a stroke to a swimmer at the Fort McCoy indoor pool.  Swim conditioning classes are held 11:15 a.m.-noon Mondays and Wednesdays and 3:15-4 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.
