Soldiers attending ammunition specialist (89B Military Occupational
Specialty) training at Fort McCoy are tested to evaluate the physical
and mental skills required to handle ammunition in a timely manner near
the 13th, 100th Battalion (Ordnance) area at Fort McCoy. The 13th, 100th
is offering the training for Army personnel needing to reclassify to be
an ammunition specialist.

Meal time at McCoy’s
Patrons at McCoy’s enjoy a meal and lunch-hour entertainment. McCoy’s
offers daily lunch food choices, including a weekday buffet, as well as
evening meals. In addition to the big-screen televisions, the facility
also has the eight-lane Thunder Bowl Bowling Center, billiards and
Seabees from throughout the Midwest who are attached to
Naval Mobile Construction Battalion-25 (NMCB-25) sight-in and qualify
with M16s as part of their training at a Fort McCoy range. NMCB-25 is
headquartered at Fort McCoy.
MWR Car Wash
The MWR Car Wash at Fort McCoy has received
extensive use throughout the mild winter. A car wash token sale will be
held Feb. 10-12 at the Community Activity Center, building 2000.
Authorized patrons can buy six tokens and get two free, limited to two
packages a day.
