Sholar designated as Fort McCoy's new Senior Mission Commander

Fort McCoy Installation Commander Col. Derek Sentinella announced that Maj. Gen. James R. Sholar has been designated as Fort McCoy's new Senior Mission Commander. 

 

Sentinella said U.S. Army Reserve Command Commanding General Lt. Gen. Jack C. Stultz has directed that the commanding generals of the four newly formed Regional Support Commands assume the role of Senior Mission Commander of installations that primarily support the Army Reserve within their geographical area of responsibility.  (Story.)

Sponsors train to help newcomers learn the ropes

Sponsors don't have to know the answers to all of the questions newcomers ask and can effectively serve incoming personnel if they know where to get answers and provide them with the same positive attitude a friend would. (Story, sidebar.)

Winter Extravaganza offers fun to outdoor enthusiasts
