Mass notification system installed at McCoy

The six new sirens installed for the Fort McCoy External Mass Notification System will provide better coverage for outdoor announcements, said Quentin Graham.

Precautions can prevent cold-weather injuries

Cold weather can bring added challenges to keeping safe. At Fort McCoy, installation safety personnel said some of the seasonal issues members of the work force encounter are slips and falls, parking lot accidents and, for people who train or work outside, increased exposure to inclement weather.

Senior Chaplain discusses spiritual resiliency

Resiliency skills, particularly the importance of the spiritual ones, along with Army programs available to help Soldiers, were explained by Chaplain (Brig. Gen.) Ray Woolridge to Fort McCoy’s senior leadership in December at McCoy’s Community Club.

King observance speaker discusses community service
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is noted not only for his role in improving justice and equality in the U.S., but also advocating service to improve the quality of life for Americans, said Brian Blahnik, the guest speaker at Fort McCoy’s Jan. 4 observance of King’s birthday.
