Fitness program to run through Feb. 27

The Rumpel Fitness Center, building 1122, and the Fort McCoy Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) are hosting a "Run … Lift … Splash" program, which began Jan. 5 and will run through Feb. 27.

Authorized patrons can participate in the "50 Days to a Healthier You" program by attending 24 aerobics or fitness classes during that time.

The program works by personnel completing a registration form and returning it to a class instructor to receive an attendance card, which will have room to record 24 classes. The instructor will validate the card after each class attended. Patrons can take any combination of classes to reach the 24-class goal and won’t need a separate card for each class.

After personnel complete the 24 classes, they turn in their attendance card to Fitness Center staff.

Successful participants will receive a prize and have the opportunity to win a $200 gift card at MC Sports of Onalaska.

All cards must be turned in by Feb. 27 to be eligible to win the gift card. Entries are limited to one per person.

Participation in the "Run … Lift … Splash" program also can be used as credit for the Family Connection program.
